Nut-Free Sunbutter Banana Waffles
Yields: 3-4 waffles
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sunflower seed butter (or other nut/seed butter)
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup (add more for more sweetness)
- 1 tsp vanillia
- 1 tbsp arrowroot flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Grease waffle maker with coconut oil and turn on to warm up.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until you get a smooth consistency.
Once waffle maker is heated, spoon batter into the middle of the waffle maker until it almost reaches the edges (allow a little room for spreading).
Close lid and allow to cook according to your liking/waffle maker instructions.
Remove waffle and serve immediately, topped with fruit, grass-fed butter, maple syrup, etc.
Store extras in freezer and reheat later in toaster!
